Abstract

Data Mining is one of the most useful technique to extract valuable information from huge sets of data. It is the process of analyzing information in different perspectives and then summarize it into useful information. Data Mining is widely used in various sectors like healthcare, banking, insurance, finance, education etc. Data Mining also plays a significant role in the field of education. It is referred to as Educational Data Mining(EDM). It helps to analyze educational data to find new patterns and trends in the field of higher education.
