Abstract

This research paper investigates the multifaceted impact of Information Communication Technology (ICT) integration in higher education institutions within Jalgaon District. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study explores the effects of ICT adoption on learning efficiency and admission rates. Survey data from 400 students elucidates that ICT integration significantly enhances learning efficiency, emphasizing its positive influence on the educational experience. However, the study also reveals that ICT adoption alone does not substantially affect admission rates, highlighting the need for a nuanced approach to enrolment strategies. Furthermore, gender and age-based disparities in students' perceptions of ICT underscore the importance of considering diverse demographic perspectives. The research emphasizes personalized approaches to ICT implementation, acknowledging students' varied preferences and addressing usability challenges. The findings contribute to the ongoing discourse on technology-enhanced learning, emphasizing the importance of tailored ICT strategies in higher education.
