The cryptocurrency market has gained immense consideration in digital media where more people want to invest into the cryptocurrency market and get a profitable return out of that investment but there are some behavioural biases which have an impact on the investment decision of the investor. There are some of the behavioural biases such as overconfidence bias, loss aversion bias, regret aversion bias, herd mentality bias, confirmation bias, anchoring bias, availability bias etc. which has an impact on the investor investment decision making. This research study mainly focuses on individual investors living in pune city who make or who made an investment in cryptocurrency market and analysing the various behavioural finance factors on the investment decision of individual investor in cryptocurrency market. A quantitative approach is used by employing a snowball sampling method through 100 questionnaires for analysing the impact of behavioural finance factors on investment decisions. The questionnaire methods are used for data collection. The result shows that loss aversion bias, regret aversion bias, herd mentality, anchoring bias, availability bias have significant effects on the individual investor investment decision making in the cryptocurrency market. The findings of the study will encourage people to invest into the cryptocurrency market and get a profitable return out of it.
