Abstract

Employee retention has become a growing concern in the Indian IT sector, which is characterized by fast-paced technological advancements and intense talent competition. This research paper explores how various Human Resource (HR) practices influence employee retention within this industry. Through mixed approach including qualitative and quantitative interview with HR Professional and IT employees, the study identifies key HR strategies—such as effective onboarding, training and development, performance appraisal systems, Job development opportunity—as needful contributors to employee retention. The study implicate a strategic, focus on employee in HR management to achieve long-term organizational success.
